Our Practice is located in the historic market town of Kington on the boarder with Wales. We provide healthcare for approximately 7,500 patients in Kington, the surrounding areas and three local Nursing and Residential Homes.
Rowlands have opted to only deliver repeat medication slips to us Wed-Fri, The Surgeries policy is still three working days to process patient prescriptions. We would advise patients to use Patient Access or hand the repeat slips to us directly at the Dispensary to avoid delays
Minor Injuries Treatment Service
Kington Medical Practice are now able to provide a service for treatment of minor injuries.
The service is available Monday to Friday 8:30am -5:30pm and is open to any patient or visitor staying within our practice boundary.
The service runs alongside our regular services and appointments and is therefore a 'sit and wait' service. However, you will be seen as soon as possible. Injuries will be seen as a priority and as immediately as possible where clinically necessary.
Please note, the service capacity is limited, so it may be necessary for us to refer you to another provider of minor injury care if we are unable to treat your injury within an appropriate timescale.
With this in mind, the Practice would be grateful to patients if they are able to phone ahead of arrival for a minor injury attendance where possible.
